In 1992 Lucy Bennell joined The Peachell Group (formerly Alderwick Peachell) and quickly became part of the senior management team helping to transform the business from one that focused purely on recruitment of finance professionals to one that provided retained recruitment services across all management disciplines. Lucy was responsible for opening many new markets as well as helping to establish what became a separate HR Consulting division.
In 2000 Lucy joined Korn Ferry Futurestep where she was able to learn from and work alongside professionals in the world’s no.1 search firm. Korn Ferry Futurestep gave Lucy first hand experience of the impact of the Internet on recruitment and of recruiting as part of a global team.
Lucy established Bennell Associates in 2002 with the goal of working closely with her network to deliver flexible customer-facing end-to-end recruitment programmes.
Lucy graduated with honours from Lancaster University in 1987 and lives with her children in West London.
